Six people were slightly injured in a bomb attack against facilities of the Chamber of Construction (Camacol) in Medellin in the north-eastern Colombia, said Tuesday the local authorities.

According to police sources, the explosion took place on the first floor of the building where is located the office of Camacol, and other institutions.

Mauricio Faciolince, director of the municipal system of management and disaster reduction, confirmed that the wounded were evacuated to a hôptital.

The site was cordoned off for investigation.
