Japan is ready to make an active contribution to achieving substantial progress of the Talks by the useful discussions with all parties concerned, welcoming all proposals and views put forward during the negotiations.

The head of the Japanese delegation Mitoji Yabunaka made the remarks in Beijing on Wednesday morning, addressing the opening ceremony of the 2nd round of talks.
