China has authorized Yale University to trade in stocks and home values, allowing the first foreign university to enter the market values of the country.

The approval, announced this week in the newspaper Shanghai Daily and confirmed Wednesday by the university, allows investors to the endowment of Yale into one of the growing economies of the world’s fastest.
