The Chinese Ministry of Culture will launch a special campaign against the illegal exploitation of music on the Internet to regulate the music market on the Internet and protect the interests of Internet sites that are law abiding in this area.

The campaign will aim to strike two types of illegal activities: 1) the profit distribution of music over the Internet without commercial license, 2) import music programs on the Internet without authorization of the Ministry of Culture.
