Israeli Prime Minister and acting head of Kadima, Ehud Olmert, said Tuesday it would form a coalition government with Workstations.

Olmert made the remarks at a press conference after a meeting with the Labor Party leader Amir Peretz.

“When the president empowers me to train government, we will begin negotiations to form a coalition government in which Labor will be a major partner,” said Olmert.

Kadima party came top in the elections on March 28 in Israel with 29 120 seats, against 19 for Labor.
