Young French invaded the “blogosphere” and more than 8 to 10 bloggers are under 24 years, according to a survey released Monday Médiamétrie.

The survey found that nearly 9 in 10 young French (86%) reported being connected to the internet during the 4th quarter 2005.

They are equipped with more 77% of 13-24 years living in a household with at least one computer, and more than 1 1 million adolescents (13-17 years) had the 3rd quarter 2005 of a blog.

According to the survey, instant messaging have become ubiquitous among French adolescents. The majority of online teens (14-17 years) prefer instant messaging (56%) to maintain contact with their friends, beating and face to face (51%).
