Wen Jiabao Meets Philippine President
Prime Minister Wen Jiabao on Monday met with Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
During the talks, the two leaders spoke highly of the Sino-Philippine relations and expressed their readiness to take further steps to deepen these relations.
Wen said that the excellent relations between the two countries had resulted in the establishment of a strategic cooperative partnership is to promote peace and development.

She said that Chinese investment is welcome in the Philippines, particularly in the areas of agriculture, fisheries and infrasutructures.
