Annual production of oil and gas company PetroChina has reached 1.06 billion barrels in 2006, a growth of 5.2% a year, said Monday that company.

PetroChina, affiliated to China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), the largest oil producer in the country, produced 829, 7 million barrels of crude oil, up 0.8% yoy.
